Master of Business Administration
Full Time MBA Program - Coverdell Peace Corps Fellows
Paul D. Coverdell Peace Corps Fellows Program
The Paul D. Coverdell Peace Corps Fellows Program is a graduate fellowship program that offers financial assistance to returned Peace Corps Volunteers (RPCVs) who wish to earn a degree in the Master of Business Administration (MBA) program. BGSU became a Peace Corps Fellows partner in the summer of 2008 with our Master's of Arts in Cross-Cultural and International Education (MACIE) program. In 2012, the Coverdell program at BGSU expanded to the MBA as well as American Studies, Food and Nutrition, Public Administration, and Spanish. As a Coverdell program, the MBA builds upon RPCVs’ practical international experience and provides the opportunity to fulfill the third goal of the Peace Corps, which is to bring the knowledge and skills learned overseas to an internship experience within a community in the United States.
If you are current Peace Corps volunteer who will complete service before the next academic year, or you are a returned volunteer, your regular application to the MBA program also serves as your application to be a Coverdell Fellow. There is no extra application. Once admitted to the MBA, volunteers must submit their Description of Service to certify successful completion of Peace Corps service. For complete information on applying to the MBA program, please see our application page.
